The presentation of the book "SNPK: war crime without statute of limitations" took place during a meeting of the coalition "Chernihiv 1325."
The book was prepared and published within the project "Let's stand together. Improving the support system for victims of sexual violence, пов′язаного with conflict, "which was carried out by the Ukrainian Women's Fund in partnership with the NGO" La Strada-Ukraine "and the Association of Women Lawyers of Ukraine" YurFem "with the support of the Office of the Vice Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration and the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy and funding European Union.
The cover of the publication depicts a figure of a woman with chains, personifying a deep and multifaceted process of struggle after experiencing violence, torture and enslavement. "In this way, we want to draw attention to the fact that freedom after captivity is not only about physical independence, but also about healing, the return of faith in oneself and the future. This is a reminder of the importance of understanding, compassion and support for those who have experienced such trials, and that breaking chains is a long process, not a one-time action. In general, the symbol is a call for solidarity with those who survived the SNPK, and to create conditions that would allow the complete release of the victims - both physical and moral, "the authors of the publication emphasize.
