The report on the results of the security audit is prepared by a working group in the Minsk community.
Last week, a working group, which includes representatives of local authorities, the police, the State Emergency Service and activists, discussed the draft report based on the results of the security audit during a meeting in the Minsk City Council. This community is a participant in the project "Detection, prevention and response to security challenges in territorial communities of Chernihiv region", which is implemented by the NGO "Association of Democratic Development", and it is a component of the "Impulse" project, implemented by the International Renaissance Foundation and the IBO "Eastern Europe Foundation".
During the meeting, the working group considered the structure of the formed document, in particular, how the data of official statistics, three focus group studies and five in-depth interviews are included in the report. The main conclusions on key security sectors are presented.
By the way, the participants of the meeting formed and analyzed security recommendations based on the SMART — principle, specific, measurable, realistic, relevant and achievable. Special attention was paid to whether all the proposed recommendations can really be implemented in the Minsk community. How many resources are needed for this?
An important development of this meeting was the development of a road map for the implementation of specific measures for each of the recommendations, with clarification of the executors, approximate terms of implementation of changes and potential sources of funding from both the community budget and extrabudgetary funds.
