The results of the information campaign in support of victims of sexual violence related to the conflict were considered during the next meeting of the Chernihiv 1325 coalition held in Chernihiv. The war continues and the victims of the SNPK need comprehensive assistance and support.
Also during the meeting, the role of the Coalition in the restoration of the Chernihiv region was discussed. In particular, the participants of the meeting considered the program of comprehensive restoration of the Chernihiv region, approved by the decision of the Chernihiv Regional Council in April 2025. The main objectives of the program are aimed at rebuilding infrastructure, restoring economic processes, improving the quality of life of residents of the region. Therefore, organizations and institutions belonging to the Coalition can contribute to the restoration of the region.
The coalition "Chernihiv 1325" was formed in the summer of 2023 with the aim of consolidating joint actions to localize in the Chernihiv region the UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" and the National Action Plan for its implementation with the support of the ICF Ukrainian Women's Fund/Ukrainian Women's Fund and the assistance of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy in the region. The Coalition currently includes 30 organizations and institutions in the region.
