The updated memorandum, the book "Navigator 1325" and the thematic site dedicated to the localization of the National Action Plan were presented during the meeting of the Coalition "Chernihivshchyna 1325", which took place in Chernihiv.
1325 The Chernihiv Oblast 1325 coalition has been operating since 2023, uniting almost 40 public organizations and state institutions. The unified MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION was re-signed within the framework of the localization of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" and the National Action Plan for its implementation within the framework of the "1325: Inclusive Security" project.
The book "Navigator 1325" is important for the activities of each regional coalition, because it is a collection of Ukrainian experience in the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security".This book consists of 25 successful stories that together highlight the modern history of Ukraine and the important role of women in its creation. These stories testify to the success and modernity of Ukraine as a modern European state and its ability to be part of a developed European community. The publication will be useful to many activists, leaders and leaders, will allow such experience to be used not only in the Ukrainian context, but also for the benefit of those countries that are affected by military operations and understand the importance of women's participation in solving security issues, peacemaking and further development.
newly created site 1325ukraine.org.ua collected all information devoted to the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" in Ukraine. A separate section is devoted to the activities of regional coalitions, including in Chernihiv Oblast.
In addition, during the meeting of the Coalition "Chernihivshchyna 1325", the possibilities and prospects of joining the members of the Coalition in the implementation of the tasks and measures of OPD 1325, in particular regarding responding to security challenges in the territorial communities of the Chernihiv region, were discussed.
The "Chernihiv Oblast 1325" coalition was formed in the summer of 2023 with the aim of consolidating joint actions on the localization of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 "Women, Peace, Security" and the National Action Plan for its implementation in the Chernihiv region with the support of the Ukrainian Women's Fund and the assistance of the Office of the Government Commissioner for Gender Policy in the region. Today, almost 40 organizations and institutions belong to the Coalition in the region.
