"Towards inclusive and gender-responsible development, renewal and accession to the EU" - a seminar with the same name was held in the capital for representatives of authorities of different levels and civil society. Representatives of our organization also took part in the seminar.

The purpose of this event was to form a vision to take into account the principles of gender equality and inclusion in the processes of Ukraine's restoration and accession to the EU, including the recommendations of representatives of public organizations and development partners.

Speakers of the seminar discussed the current status of the Ukraine Facility Plan and regional and local development plans, emphasized the need to include human-centered principles, gender approaches to the recovery process in Ukraine.

Government Commissioner for Gender Policy in Ukraine Kateryna Levchenko emphasized the need to include the principles of gender equality and inclusion in all programs and policies at all levels. After all, in the process of reconstruction, it is important to build a "stable gender equal fair inclusive society" in Ukraine.

Sabine Fraser, representative of UN Women, noted that despite the destruction and suffering, the war becomes a moment of opportunity for Ukraine's restoration and accession to the EU. And in this process, the voices of women should sound louder, because they are involved in different spheres of activity and successfully perform important tasks.
