An updated physical rehabilitation hall for children with disabilities was opened in Priluki on the basis of the Priluki City Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Children with Disabilities "Dawn."
This important step was made possible through participation NGO "Association of families raising children with disabilities" Dawn" in an international project implemented by an international humanitarian organization ZOA in Ukraine in partnership with the Association for Democratic Development/Association for Democratic Development.
Within the framework of this project, repairs and modern arrangement of space were carried out, safe and comfortable conditions for group and individual physical therapy classes were created. This is an important support for children with disabilities undergoing rehabilitation in a single specialized institution of the city - KZ "Prilutsky Center" Dawn ".
This week, the grand opening of the modernized hall took place with the participation of representatives of the city authorities, the public sector, the ZOA in Ukraine team and the Association for democratic development/Association for Democratic Development.
Attended the event and representatives Union of Women of Chernihiv. They noted the care and indifference with which representatives of the NGO "Dawn" relate to the problems of families raising children with disabilities. After all, every element of the center's equipment is a significant step in solving the daily problems of these families, which will certainly contribute to improving the well-being and emotional state of children.
The creation of such a rehabilitation space in Priluki is a vivid example of effective cooperation between the local community and international support to achieve real change.
The organization expressed gratitude to all partners and caring people who contributed to the creation of better conditions for the little inhabitants of Priluki!
In Chernihiv region, the international organization ZOA in Ukraine, in partnership with the Association for Democratic Development NGO, is implementing a grant program, according to which 11 public organizations and initiative groups selected on a competitive basis received financial support to implement their ideas.
