We are launching a new cash assistance project for residents of Chernihiv Oblast and Sumy Oblast!
The project "Comprehensive services for the protection of civilians affected by hostilities and improving the resilience skills of workers who come to the rescue first" is aimed at supporting people who have suffered the most from the war.
It provides for two main financial assistance programmes.
What help will we provide:
- Help for evacuees
Payment of a one-time cash benefit in the amount of UAH 12,300.00. to people who left their homes due to shelling, danger or mandatory/voluntary evacuation orders and moved to communities in Chernihiv region or Shostky district of Sumy region. Priority is given to families who have moved:
● Up to 45 days ago (recently evacuated).
● More than 45 days ago, but have the greatest needs. In particular (households with children, the elderly, households comprising persons with disabilities, single carers, households that have lost income or resources and need basic necessities).
2. Assistance to victims of shelling One-time payment of cash assistance in the amount of UAH 12,300.00. to local residents of Chernihiv region and Shostky district of Sumy region, who remain in their settlements, but were directly affected by hostilities.
Who can get:
● Civilians whose homes, property or living conditions have been directly affected by missile, unmanned or artillery strikes to overcome the acute humanitarian crisis.
