We are sincerely glad that the cooperation with Italian partners, initiated in the Zlatopil community of the Kharkiv region at the level of public organizations, continues.
Psychosocial assistance to the children of the Zlatopil community, which was implemented within the framework of the NGO project "Association of Democratic Development" with the support of the branch of the "Ter des Om Italy ETS" foundation, was the start of deep cooperation between the two municipalities of Ukraine and Italy. The Ukrainian city of Zlatopil, where the children's space "Kryla" operates, has established partnership relations with the Italian city of Buccinasco.
Currently, 22 children from the Zlatopol community are in Italy — in the municipality of Buccinasco. They will be accepted by local families for two weeks.
The mayor of Buccinasco, Reno Pruitti, noted that he is proud of his people, who not only talk about solidarity, but also prove it with deeds, supporting children from the border region of Ukraine during the war.
In Zlatopol, the children's space "Kryla" continues its activities within the framework of the project "PROMESSA: Protection of children, response to emergency situations and health care for the most vulnerable families affected by the conflict in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions". The project is implemented by the NGO "Association of Democratic Development" in partnership with the branch of the "Ter des Om Italy ETS" foundation in Ukraine (TDH Italy) Terre des Hommes Italia in Ucraina. It is financed by the Italian Cooperation and implemented with the aim of strengthening mental health and improving the social adaptation of children and their families affected by the war in the Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
