NGO "Association of Democratic Development" joined the "Impulse" project, which is being implemented Міжнародний фонд "Відродження" та МБО "Фонд Східна Європа".
Its main goal— is to help local organizations become drivers of sustainable and inclusive recovery in their communities. The programme combines financial support, training, analysis, internships and networking. This is a long-term investment in developing a new wave of change leaders on the ground. Nearly 100 public organizations in Ukraine have implemented their projects, expanded the scope of interaction, and boosted development in communities thanks to "Impulse".
Our organization is among 24 other NGOs whose projects received support within the framework of the third wave of the Impulse small grants competition.
The team of the Association for Democratic Development will work to identify, prevent and respond to security challenges in the Chernihiv region. As project leader Iryna Kulyk stated, multidisciplinary working groups will be created in the communities of Minsk and Kulikiv during the presentation, which will conduct security audits and develop action plans. Local residents will participate in measures to respond to security challenges.
During the coordination meeting held in the capital, the proper management of civil society organizations, as well as financial issues and external communications during the implementation of projects, were discussed.
The event took place within the framework of the project "Empowerment of civil society for the sustainability and recovery of Ukraine ("Impulse")", which is implemented by the International Renaissance Foundation together with the Eastern Europe Foundation with the financial support of Norway and Sweden.
