We take care of ourselves and strengthen international partnership
On January 25-28, 2024, representatives of the Association for Democratic Development took part in the training "Prevention of Professional Burnout. Self-care, "held in the Republic of Moldova. The event brought together 13 Ukrainian women who work in women's organizations and in the conditions of war join to help in their communities.
According to the participants of the training, it was useful and relevant. After all, Ukrainian activists had the opportunity, under the guidance of psychologist Angelica Russu, to create a space of safety and self-care, to get detailed information about the phenomenon of professional burnout and effective methods of how to resist it. "We know well that the work of public organizations is crucial in wartime, and the emotional burden on women's teams is inevitable. Sisterhood is when we think of women who are in more critical situations than we are and offer support. We thank the activists from Ukraine for their trust! " - colleagues from the Republic of Moldova shared on their Facebook page.
Thank you very much for meeting and supporting activists from the Moldovan NGO "Women for Women." We hope for a meeting in peaceful Ukraine and the implementation of joint projects. The event took place within the framework of the project "Girls and Women - Solidarity and Autonomy" implemented by the NGO "Women for Women" Femei pentru Femei/Women 4 Women in partnership with UNICEF Moldova and funded by KFW. In partnership with UNICEF Moldova and funded by KFW.
