Women's HUB of Restoration and Development SheRebuilds HUB invites you to participate in a 2-day training on effective communications, which will take place on November 10-11 in. Poltava.
The training on effective communications, which is already the fourth in the cycle of thematic exercises for representatives of women's human rights public organizations, will allow the participants not only to practice the skills of strategic approaches to the information activities of NGOs, but also to learn about:
- strategic communications: why does the NGO communicate?
- target audiences and key messages
- how to talk about results and impact
- social networks: from presence to engagement
- media literacy and reputational risks
- information support of NGOs: from the plan to publication
- how journalists work and how to prepare for interviews
- public (in particular, crisis) communications
The acquired knowledge and practical skills will be especially relevant and useful in the context of the implementation of a comprehensive information campaign on the topic of gender-responsible recovery, which is planned at the end of 2026 and the beginning of 2027 at the national, regional and local levels. The information campaign will contribute to the fact that the principles of gender equality and taking into account the needs of different population groups become an integral part of recovery processes and contribute to social cohesion and the involvement of women in recovery processes.

The training will take place on the basis of the hotel complex "Atmosphere" at the address: str. Pylypa Orlyk (Paris Commune), 44a. Costs related to accommodation (2-person), meals, as well as transport costs are borne by the organizers of the event. To compensate for transport costs (railway travel – coupe, bus; fuel for cars is not compensated), you must provide the original ticket to the city. Poltava and a copy of the return ticket. The organizers cover accommodation for 2 days (2 nights).
