The Union of Women of Menshchina has been working in the community of the same name in Chernihiv region since 2017. Starting with educational activities to protect women's rights, gender equality, activists gradually shifted their focus to work to preserve and popularize the spiritual and material heritage.

During its activity, the women's public organization has implemented projects that popularize the tourist potential of the community, dedicated to the preservation of the local dialect, unique деревʼяній architecture.
